Radha Desikan Eswar


Architect turned social entrepreneur incubating social entrepreneurs dedicated to connecting people to plants. Her passion and belief is to create social entrepreneurs who can heal lands and minds of people through sustainable and ecological business initiatives to make this planet heal faster from the ravages we create as a race on it.

Radha Eswar is a green architect, a green crusader and the founder of ArtyPlantz and IdeinLab Architects. She is passionate about plants and trees and is on a mission to heal lands and minds using them.

She did her graduation on building science and construction management from IIT, Delhi.

Krish Murali Eswar


He is passionate about taking a great idea and making it into a reality, especially an idea that has a social impact and benefits the community and environment. Krish Murali Eswar’s passion in life is to set a personal example, facilitate, inspire and lead young minds to innovate ideas towards creating a prosperous society. He is a TEDx speaker on sustainable habitats and was a French government environment agency consultant on energy efficiency. He led a team to innovate and design India’s first energy information center. He is a Harvard business school executive education graduate on product development and innovation. He was the CEO & Board member of BCIL ZED Habitats, a leader in sustainable construction. He is a contributing author to urban energy source book of UN Environment Program. He is an Advisory committee member to GRIHA India green building certification standard. He has been practicing Kundalini Yoga over the last 30 years and wishes to help people heal themselves and realise their purpose in life. A mentor to all of ArtyPlantz’s initiatives, he keeps us on track to success.

Horticultural Therapists

Karthikeyan V


His journey in the field of Horticultural Therapy started from 2010. A passionate lover of plants and a sincere therapist who always love to help people with disabilities and other needs. His belief for plant’s magic of healing is immense.  And the best thing about Karthik is listening to his early horticulture experiences he had with children with the condition of intellectual disabilities.He was also a research associate in Horticultural Therapy at College of Agriculture, Vellayani, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala for two years.

For the past 5 months, Karthik has been working with Akshadhaa Foundation for autism. He also has experience in working with people of different ages and conditions like Mental Retardation, Autism, Down’s syndrome, Schizophrenia, Cancer, people with stress, Alzheimer’s, Visually impaired for years together now.

He is the Co-founder of Horticultural Therapy Healing Center(HTHC) and the president of Pavitraka Charitable Trust (PCT). HTHC is an initiative of PCT having the to empower disabled people.

Ramya Priya S:


Her adventurous excursion into the world of horticultural therapy started from 2012. She is shy in nature when you just get to know her, but over time you will know for yourself her boundless knowledge about horticultural therapy. She is also great with handling children. She has always been present in conducting events at Cubbon Park for the visually impaired and other crowd. She is also one of the pioneers of our team to excel in her creativeness related to different activities and nature crafts.

She graduated with her Bachelor of Technology in Horticulture from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. She has experience working children having different conditions such as Autism, Mental Retardation, Cancer and people with stress and visual impairment.

Surya Suresh:


Bold in nature and destined to be a caring and loving horticultural therapist, her goal is to set up a horticultural therapy centre in India. And her career to pursue this humanitarian goal started in the year 2012. She believes that horticulture therapy is the great way to heal various lifestyle disorders that is threatening the modern society.  She is a great organizer in horticulture therapy activities and handling children of all age groups and also including those with autistic tendencies.

She got her Bachelor of Technology in Horticulture from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. She has experience in working with autistic children at Bubbles Centre for Autism, Hennur, Bangalore. In her free time, she uses her imaginative skills to make terrariums, curve earthen pots and research on possible horticultural activities.
